This Privacy Policy explains how Project Proprietor ("we," "us") handles personal information when you visit projectproprietor.com, suggest a guest or contact us.

Information we collect

• Information you send us: when you email us to suggest a guest or ask a question, we receive your name, contact details and anything you choose to share, including details about a suggested guest.
• Guests: information about guests is handled under the guest's appearance and release agreement.
• Security and delivery data: the site is delivered by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and request logs to deliver and protect the site.
• Fonts: pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser information when the fonts are requested.
• Advertising: some pages may display ads served by Google. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including ads based on your visits to this and other websites. See the section on advertising below.
• No other tracking: apart from advertising, the site does not use analytics cookies or tracking pixels, and has no forms that collect information.

How we use and share information

We use information to respond to you, evaluate guest suggestions, produce the show and run the project. We share it only with service providers that help us operate (such as Microsoft 365 and Cloudflare), with people you ask us to involve, or when required by law. If you suggest someone else as a guest, please share only information you are comfortable with us using to contact them. Other than through the advertising described below, we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites, and its partners may do the same. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

You can turn off personalized ads from Google in My Ad Center, and opt out of personalized advertising from many other vendors at aboutads.info/choices. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we request non-personalized ads. Where the law requires it, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown. Where state law treats personalized advertising as a sale or sharing of personal information, these controls are how you opt out.

Social platforms

Our LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube pages are operated under those platforms' own terms and privacy policies.

Retention and security

We keep correspondence only as long as it is useful for the project or required by law, and protect it with reasonable safeguards.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing hi@projectproprietor.com. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them as required.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
